Onward Christian Soldier
Episode 1: The Convoy. Sergeant Daniel Adeyemi, a devoted Christian soldier, leaves his wife Grace and children Esther and David in Lagos for deployment in the North-East, carrying a drawing from David that reads "JESUS IS WITH YOU DADDY." In the convoy he urges his friend Chidi to give his life to Christ, and Chidi says he'll think about it. Then the convoy is ambushed at Kwari Pass and the platoon is wiped out. Daniel wakes pinned under his burning truck as a masked insurgent aims a rifle at his face and fires.
